In the European Year of the Entrepreneurship, this event will be one of our great contributes to promote and presente this thematic, looking to do it in the most active and participative manner, involving different kinds of target public from the youngest to the young entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs and investors.

It’s our conviction that the success of this mission also relies on the high level of professionalism and formation of the responsible technicians for the entrepreneurship promotion. It’s in this sense that, in a completely innovative way in Portugal, we will promote in Portugal, the 1st Training Course of Trainers in Entrepreneurship. The course, directed to trainers and entrepreneurship facilitator agents, will be given by Prof. Christopher Curtis, considered as one of the greatest world specialists in the Entrepreneurship Training.

Believing that the entrepreneurial spirit can also be educated and can be stimulated since the early years, we will take advantage of the Prof. Chris Curtis presence to develop activities with students from the primary school and from the secondary education of the Region, being predicted the realization of a workshpo about the entrepreneurship, the industry and the engineering, that will still count with the collaboration of the Universities. Seeking to train the entrepreneurial spirit of the Schools Region students, it will be held the Young Entrepreneurial Day, a street action where the children will pass “to the other side of the balcony”, aiming to provide the development and the application of entrepreneurial competences, based on the orientation and incitation of Prof. Chris Curtis.

Trying to promote the approach between the entrepreneurs and investors, it will be organized a round table on Startups Financing counting with the presence of several Companies of Risk Capital and Business Angels.

Wishing to extend the discussion to the entrepreneurs of the region, it will be held a debate dinner where we will try to launch the bases for the creation of a network of business angles to support new entrepreneurs and new projects able to develop economically this region.
