Schools at the Entrepreneurship Week

Open, in Collaboration with Centimfe, Gesventure and Marinha Grande Town Council, following their mission of promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, will organise the “Marinha Grande Entrepreneurship Capital” event, that will take place between the April 26th and the 30th, in Marinha Grande and Leiria Region

From the several predicted activities, our aim is to give particular relevance to the sensitization of the youngest for the entrepreneurship. The work market is in rapid mutation so that it is necessary to expose the young’s to the entrepreneurship option. In this sense, we will promote two initiatives oriented to the students coming from schools located in the Region, counting with the precious dynamisation of Prof. Christopher Curtis, the Canadian considered as one of the greatest world specialists in Entrepreneurship Training.

In April 27th, Centimfe will hold the seminar “Entrepreneurship for Young Entrepreneurs”, where, in a great interactive environment, Prof. Chris Curtis will try to stimulate in the participants their entrepreneurial skills.

In the April 30th, the “Young Entrepreneur Day” will be organized and helded by us, next to the Batalha Convent with the support of the Batalha Council. Here the students that attended the seminar of the 27th April, will be able to put in practice their entrepreneurial skills, passing “to the other side of the balcony” and selling own products (handicraft, cookies…). The most important objective is not the final result in money but the recognition that each one has what it takes to have success in the competitive world in which we live, and that they are responsible and capable of building their own future.
