Carolina Bernardo Exhibition at OPEN

“A little ball, some glass beads, a seed, a ceramics or murano piece, a little ribbon of satin, one of organza and other of velvet. It’s just another piece, I think, frequently. When I become aware, I’m surrounded by coloured pieces. A bustle of ideas starts to arouse and culminates with the desire of listening the opinion about my most recent work.

A Portuguese piece, a Spanish, an Indian, a Senegalese, one made by my mother, other by my grandmother. A mixture of wisdom and cultures in a unique and inimitable single piece.

It all started five years ago, with the purpose of filling my vacations time. Making accessories has become an addiction, a few time after having started. Since then, I have made several fairs, namely the “ Young Entrepreneur Fair”.

The next exhibition will be hosted at OPEN, from 13th March till the end of the month, and can be visited from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
