Entrepreneurship Event promotes innovation projects
The 18th of April was dedicated to the Technological Entrepreneurship and its goal was to introduce new entrepreneurial projects in technological areas, with the aim of promoting the contact between entrepreneurs and investors.
For that
reason, OPEN hosted an “Inventions, Prototypes and Innovative Projects
Fair”, incorporating 17 projects from several Portuguese Universities, ADI,
IAPMEI and other incubators, besides OPEN’s pre-incubated projects. The
promoters had the opportunity to exhibit their projects, products and
prototypes, and to discuss them with possible financial partners and business
angels present at the event, in an informal way.
At the same
time occurred several thematic workshops related with Industrial and
Intellectual Property Rights, Incentives Programmes to new entrepreneurial
initiatives and Projects’ Financing, where it was evident a new dynamic
regarding Venture Capital and Business Angels and a higher opening to investment
in projects still in start up stage.
