Mideia Lda – Design e Implantação de Produto was born in 2006 and is based at OPEN in Marinha Grande. Designers Eduardo Maltez and Rogério Santos, who took their degree at Escola Superior de Artes e Design, created the company. Mideia aims to innovate the design services provided to companies. Through a recently created brand, Miuzo, the designers wish to rejuvenate national design with innovative products.

In our enterprise culture we accept that design is not an end, but a means to achieve and increase clients’ competitiveness. At Mideia we create more than just products, we create everything that is associated with the product. Through the most varied communication forms we create the package and the personal card, the webpage and the audiovisual presentation among many others.

By launching the brand MIUZO we wish to take a risk in quality and uniqueness.

The company’s choice of raw materials is glass and ceramics. Thus, young designers, small sized companies and partnerships are areas to discover.

The purpose of this company is to create a new look and a new way of feeling design in what comes to glass and ceramics.

Development and commercialization of functional and decorative products. At a first stage glass and ceramics would be associated with the help of young designers.
