Tecnoemprende Project is developed regarding the Community Initiative INTERREG III B European Southeast and is co-financed by FEDER (ERDF - European Regional Development Fund).
This project is the first inter-regional motion destined to ease the creation of technological companies in SUDOE.

Aims:

  • To assemble and coordinate information about the various regional initiatives so that the technological entrepreneur has available, first hand, all kinds of information about procedures and assistance for the launching of its entrepreneurial project;

  • To promote the creation of technological companies in SUDOE, enhancing that auto-employment in innovative activities is a viable alternative and with high probability of success, it is a wealth, employment and competitiveness generator and also a key element in regional development.

Activities

In order to stimulate the rising of innovative ideas that are frequently “asleep” in laboratories, this project intends to develop a structured set of initiatives:

  1. To put into practice the virtual Tecno-Emprende space seen as a structural project tool, a privileged system communication instrument and a dissemination vehicle of the project's main results;

  2. To study the regional entrepreneurial situation in each of the regions that are in agreement with the project. The purpose is to get acquainted with specificities and the competitive advantages and disadvantages that may arise and that every entrepreneur will find in each region;

  3. To give assistance to technological entrepreneurs with the purpose of mobilizing innovative ideas and minimizing the “adventurous” uncertainties of entrepreneurship that will be faced;

  4. To put all contests and innovative initiatives at a regional level in network. The first contest of ideas in the European Southeast (SUDOE) is also a goal of this project, which will include all beneficiary regions;

  5. To prepare the “Jornadas Inter-regionais Sectoriais R2I (Researchers to Investors)”. These consist of four meetings in different Southeast regions. Contact between entrepreneurs and financial entities will be promoted in order to capture seed capital and risk capital into innovative projects that will be developed in the regions embraced by this project;

  6. To support the start and/or development of project partners’ incubators, allowing the establishment of an incubator network in the SUDOE. An itinerary space will be created in the incubators, where the entrepreneurs embraced by the project can temporarily establish their businesses (max. 3 months). The space will allow the establishment of relations between clients and suppliers or between entrepreneurs with compatible projects;

  7. To study the offer existing in technological parks and establish agreements with these parks in order to receive entrepreneurs who have already ended their incubation phase.
